Publisher Description
Avoid death in the family. This is your guide to the correct dengue therapy.
This is the life-saving dengue diagnostic and therapy app based on the World Health Organization's dengue guidelines.
Most deaths by dengue is caused by the breakdown of circulation in the body, and not by the dengue virus itself. Patients who die did not get the proper amount of fluid resuscitation needed to survive this fearsome virus. Patients die of shock, a critical condition that is brought on by a sudden drop in blood flow through the body. The circulatory system fails to maintain adequate blood flow, sharply curtailing the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to vital organs.
This app calculates the proper amount of fluid to be administered to the patient, the type of fluid, whether intravenous fluids or blood transfusion, and the timing and duration of the fluid resuscitation. This app ensures that there is adequate circulation in the body.
Let this app be your guide. Nobody should die of dengue!
